We are one of Townsville's latest mobile repair and maintenance service providers. With expertise in servicing cars, 4x4s, and heavy machinery, we ensure top-notch quality and reliability in every job we undertake.

RNM Mechanical goal is to meet or exceed our customers expectations.
With 7 years of mechanical industry experience we are able to get you the results that you want. We will get your machinery back up and running with minimal down time
Here at RNM Mechanical we do quick estimates over the phone or in person to quickly gauge if our price is right for you. However estimates will likely change once we have gone through and quoted the work. Quote prices will be more exact than an estimate and will include labour, travel and parts costs.

Our capabilities
RNM Mechanical is currently field / mobile based and does not have a workshop.
​
This does slightly limit repairs that we can Perform, but we are willing to take on most jobs. However we are upfront about what we can and cannot do.
We do have most of the equipment needed to complete jobs and will gain more as we grow.
Currently RNM Mechanical is a small family run operation so all customers will be in contact with myself or a family member.

I work a 2/2 FIFO roster, so there are dates I am unavailable for field work. you can still contact us to set up booking for when I am available for field work.

Services
Small engines and mowers
Our hourly rate for small engines and mowers is $50 (labour rate only).​

Cars and 4x4
Our hourly rate for cars and 4x4 is $80 (labour rate only)
We offer pre purchase inspections and general health for the vehicles listed above.
We charge 1 hour in labour with the appropriate price listed above.

We also offer oil sample at $45 per sample if requested by the customer.
​
We offer diagnostics for all vehicles listed above.
​
For diagnostics we start with 1.5 hours of labour and communicate with the customer when we reach the 1.5 hours of labour. This is because diagnostics can be challenging and we may need extra time.
We offer minor services for all vehicles listed above.

Small engines & mowers: 1.5 hr labour
Cars & 4x4s: 3 hr labour
agricultural & earth-moving: 4.5 hr labour

Agriculture & earth-moving machinery
Our hourly rate for agricultural and earth-moving machinery is $100 (labour rate only).​​
We offer repairs for all vehicles listed above.
​
When it comes to repairs there is nothing more important then prior diagnostics. We want to be sure we fixed the cause not just the symptoms.
​
For all repairs we like to diagnose, estimate then do a final quote for the repair. This ensures the best outcome for the customer.
We offer removal of the waste oil from the service.
​We charge $2.00 per liter of waste oil we dispose of
responsibly.
​
Our call out rate are $50 within 30km of Condon once out of that range we change to $2.50 per km until we are back within the 30km range.
